One of my favourite things about running a small business is connecting with other local entrepreneurs who share the same passion and love for what they do. Recently, I had the joy of teaming up with another amazing local woman business owner….the fabulous Paula from The Dog Empire. Together, we created a very special competition that brought two of our worlds together: pampered pups and beautiful photography.

The prize? A dog groom from The Dog Empire followed by a professional photoshoot with me in our local setting of Bushy Park. We wanted to offer something that would celebrate a special furry family member, and we had a whole bunch of fun!

Running this competition was such a wonderful way to connect with our community. We had so many lovely entries, and it was heart-warming to read how much people’s dogs mean to them. Our winner’s four-legged friend was treated to a fab grooming session before heading out for their photoshoot and a play in the park.

Collaborations like this remind me just how special our local community is. As two women running independent businesses, it was fantastic to support each other and create something unique that brings joy to our clients. Keep an eye out….we might do more of this in the future!
